Job description
Position Summary:
eSilicon in Vietnam has multiple openings for Design Engineers experienced in Digitial Circuits, Mixed Signal, Memory Compilers, and more.
The Digital Circuit Design Engineers main responsibilities include memory compilers and custom memory design, characterization and QA/ QC. These Circuit Design Engineers are also responsible for R&D in Memory Development.
Responsibilities Include:
Design memory compilers and custom memories
§ Verification of developed memory compilers and custom memories
§ Conduct Layout review
§ Build leaf cells of design
§ Create common PDK
Design Characterization
§ Build and verify function of critical schematic and critical path for characterization
§ Write scripts to generate setup and manage tasks
§ Characterize timing/power for design
QA/ QC for design
§ Validate data package
§ Optimize spacing, area and have good electric character
§ Functional check by HSIM/GLN
R&D
§ Explore method to improve current working flow
§ Recommend new technical strategies and tools t
§ Serve as technical consultant for Memory Development circuit design
Job requirement
Skills / Abilities:
§ Ability to work in team efficiently
§ Good communication skills
§ Influencing skills over a wide spectrum of management and technical contacts
§ Proficient in English: able to read and understand technical materials in English and discuss technical issues in English
Knowledge Requirements Include:
§ Good knowledge of memory design
§ Familiar with Unix/Linux environment
??Verilog, Magma, VHDL?
§ Good knowledge of programming language: PHP, Shell, Perl, Java
§ Exceptional knowledge in computer application, network management
§ Advanced knowledge of Windows environment: AD, Group policy, SMB, Domain and MS Office
Experience Requirements Include:
§ 2 - 5 years industry experience in Memory Development Circuit design as described above.
